/ Quick Answers

Before you install

Is Apnea Coach suitable for beginners?

Yes. Apnea Coach is designed for both beginners and experienced breath-hold practitioners. The app includes safety onboarding, guided warm-ups, adjustable pacing, and fully editable training tables so you can train at your own level.

Does the app request sensitive permissions?

No. Apnea Coach requests only local storage access to save session logs. No microphone, camera, location, or contacts are used.

What is the difference between CO2 and O2 tables?

CO2 tables focus on reducing recovery time between breath holds to help improve comfort with rising CO2 levels. O2 tables are designed around longer breath holds to help train breath-hold endurance and tolerance to lower oxygen levels.

Can I create my own training tables?

Yes. You can fully customise and save your own training tables, including hold times, recovery intervals, warm-up settings, and pacing preferences.

Does the app include guided breathing?

Yes. Apnea Coach includes optional guided warm-ups, configurable inhale and exhale pacing, voice cues, prepare tones, and haptic feedback during sessions.

Can I connect a heart-rate monitor?

Yes. Apnea Coach supports compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart-rate monitors for live heart-rate tracking during sessions.

Does the app work when the screen is locked?

Yes. Apnea Coach tracks session history, weekly training totals, personal bests, trend cards, hold-volume trends, and milestone achievements.
